물상(2018~)은 이은지, 이재현 2인의 구성으로 보이지 않는 것이 보이는 세계에 미치는 완력을 설치와 드로잉 형태로 표현합니다. 비물질적인 것들, 예감이나 징조처럼 확인 불가능한 느낌의 세계가 물성에 맺혀있는 관계에 관심이 있습니다. 가장 가깝게 여기는 관계가 때로는 가장 멀고 어려웠던 경험에 비추어 ‘이해하기 위해 오해하기를 시도한다’는 명제로 마음과, 몸, 말(언어)를 다루고 있습니다.

‘Mulsang’ is an artist collective group comprising Lee Eunji and Lee Jaehyun. Their artworks explore the influence of unseen forces on the visible world through installations and drawings. Influenced by the intangible aspects of life, such as premonitions or signs, and unverifiable feelings that intersect with physical reality, their interest lies in the relationships these non-material elements form with the material world. They deal with the mind, body, and language based on the proposition that ‘we attempt to misunderstand in order to understand’. Drawing from their personal experiences, they find that the relationships they consider the closest are sometimes the most distant and challenging.
